Climate

The rainy season reaches its climax in July/August, while the lowest precipitation is measured from November to January. The annual rainfall is significantly higher, reaching up to 1200 mm/year. In October, November and December frost often occurs and damages the crops. The highest temperatures are reached towards the end of the dry season in April/May.
